If you grew up loving the sounds of the 80s, neon-soaked movie soundtracks, big drums, analog synths, and cinematic retro vibes, this place was built for you.

My name is Alonso Carballo, and I’m the producer, educator, and synthwave fan behind Synthwave Dojo.

I’ve been making music for most of my life, first as a drummer in bands, then as a music producer, sound designer, and educator. I also earned a Professional Certificate in Music Production from Berklee Online.

But at the heart of it, I’m a child of the 80s who fell in love with the sound, mood, and imagination of synthwave.

Synthwave Dojo exists to help you stop getting stuck in unfinished loops, tutorial rabbit holes, and endless plugin hunting.

My goal is to help you follow a clear path from idea to finished track, so you can release your first synthwave song with pride.

Through my videos, resources, and programs like First Release Blueprint and First Release Accelerator I help you build the skills, confidence, and structure to actually finish music.

Not someday.

Not when everything is perfect.

But one focused step at a time.

I also release original synthwave music as Kipple Factor.

Kipple Factor is where I explore nostalgic, cinematic, 80s-inspired electronic music with dreamy synths, retro drums, emotional melodies, and neon sci-fi atmosphere.
