Bass Patterns
The right bass pattern is key to making your synthwave track groove correctly. I listened to 100 tracks from The Midnight and TimeCop1983 and discovered that they use the same 2 bass patterns on 91% of their tracks. In this video we cover those bass patterns as well as ways to use them in your productions.

Playing root notes is a tried and true approach for creating good sounding bass lines for your Synthwave tracks. However, exclusively relying on that approach can get pretty boring after a while. Let me show you how to use 3rds, 5ths, 7ths and octaves to spice up your bass lines and escape the sea of sameness.
