About Course

In this course, I’ll show you how to make some awesome synthwave patches using the great and FREE synth GR-8 by Phuturetone. Additionally, you could follow along on any subtractive synth of your choice since we’ll cover very simple concepts that don’t require advanced features from your synth.

Fat Line Bass Patch
The Fat Line Bass is a patch from the Korg Polysix synth which is used on tons of Synthwave tracks. It may just be the quintessential Synthwave bass sound due to its versatility and popularity. In this video, I’m going to show you how to recreate it on any synth VST, while using the free synth GR-8 by Phuturetone as example.
