Hey synthwaver! I’m Alonso, founder of Synthwave Dojo.

My goal is to help you make the music that’s in your heart.

I know that learning from watching tutorials and reading blog posts can be tough, the same as learning to swim from reading a book.

There are times when you need an expert to guide you through the desert of frustration and pinpoint exactly what you need to improve on and how to get there.

That’s why I’m here, to get you unstuck.

With that intention I offer 1 to 1 mentoring sessions to serious students in the following areas:

• Fundamentals of Synthwave (learning the ingredients to make synthwave and how to put them together)
• Idea generation (show you ways to make music even when you’re not inspired, kill writer’s block!)
• Arrangement (turning an 8-bar loop into a full-length track)
• Mixing (learn the fundamental techniques of mixing to produce a professional-sounding track)

This is the way I work with my students:

• We commit to at least one cycle of 4 weeks
• We have one 60-minute virtual call every two weeks for a total of two calls per cycle
• We agree on the area that you want to improve, I create a plan with the materials and assignments needed to be completed every two weeks and during the calls we do Q&A and some teaching
• You get access to me via Discord IM and email so we stay in constant communication throughout the mentoring cycle
• For this service, I charge a fee of $200 USD per 4-week cycle, payable via PayPal, in advance
